Summer Style

Finally I have some pictures of the new outfits that I bought for summer! Let me just say that my sense of fashion is a lot better in the summer. In the winter I basically don't want to move for months on end, so really getting ready in the morning is not my top priority. In the summer, I open up all of the windows and listen to the birds singing while I brush my hair and put on my makeup. Below, you'll see the results of my hard work :)

This is a picture of my sister Megan, me, and my brother Adam from Easter this year. That shirt is one that I bought on our Spring Shopping Trip, and I love it. It's longer in the back and all flowy, and my heart belongs to anything floral.

This picture is of me and my Big,  Candice, at our Founder's Day celebration last month. I am in love with short dresses, especially this one. It looks like it came straight out of another decade to me, and that light blush color is one of my favorites for the summer!

Finally, this was my FAVORITE thing that I got shopping to wear this summer. I guess you could say that I've been "discovering" who I am lately. I've been going through this hippie phase in my life, and anything that looks folk-y or like 60's hippie fashion has been catching my eye. All I want to do is pick flowers and walk in the grass barefoot all summer. Unfortunately, I work at a job that has my cubicle in a windowless basement, so that fantasy is a little out of reach. Anyway, this picture is from my sister Megan's prom last month. My baby sister Chloe is on the left, Megan is in the middle, and I am on the right. The flowers on the front of my dress look like cross-stitching, and my sleeves fan out. I just couldn't be more in love with this dress if I tried. 

I would also like to mention Megan's prom dress! This picture doesn't really show the bottom, but it had this pattern of glittery flowers all over it. I was so jealous, it was gorgeous :)

Birthday Weekend

Forgive me if I'm a little scatterbrained in this post, it was waking up at like 5:00 this morning for the wedding I was in, paired with my lack of caffeine intake today :)
